Here at St Luke’s your education will be a journey through the 3 core branches of science. You will carry out various scientific, practical experiments, as a result of which you will soon realise how much of a science-dependent society we live in.

Within biology (the study of life), you will learn about the relations that different living things have with each other as well as the environment. You will learn about your body through the use of microscopes, 3D models and you will learn about the genetics that make you who you are.

Within chemistry (the study of materials), you will carry out a range of experiments, ranging from reactions involving acids and making your own products such as soap or bath bombs! You will also take a deeper look at molecules and atoms which make up everything around us.

Within physics (the study of matter and it moves through time and space), you will learn about the wonders of space, the transfer of energy, and how forces can be manipulated to allow us to make jobs easier.
