Arc of Attrition 50 mile race

At St Luke's we celebrate pupils' and staff achievement every day. At times some of the achievements are truly remarkable!


This week we have celebrated the great achievement of Mr Richards our Forest School Leader.


On the weekend he competed in the Arc of Attrition 50 mile race. The Arc is a point to point, highly prestigious and challenging trail coastal race in Cornwall. It is a world series qualifier where the top 3 men and women automatically qualifying for the world finals in Chamonix, France.


The race has a mix of professional, sponsored and amateur runners from around the world, with 25 of them classed as Elite.


Mr Richards had a fantastic result and finished 17^th Male!


Well deserved congratulations go to Mr Richards from us all. He really demonstrates our school value of Perseverance.
