PSHE Education

Personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE) helps pupils to stay healthy, safe and prepared for life in modern Britain

St Luke’s academy ensures PSHE is delivered during allocated lessons and during our weekly assemblies and tutor time. On top of this our students have enjoyed performances from Integrate (Bristol Charity), worked alongside 52lives (kindness charity) and built close links with our local community police officer. All of this has helped develop knowledge and understanding of our local community and the world we live in.

St Luke’s Academy uses Jigsaw which is a progressive and effective scheme of work, aiming to prepare our students for life, helping them really know and value who they are and understand how they relate to other people in the world. Topics covered include: British values, RSE, staying safe online, how to manage money and many more.
